Randy Crenshaw
Session Singer/ Back-up Vocalist
Randy has been described as “the Swiss Army knife of L.A. session singers”, due to his amazing range of singing styles. Randy moved to Los Angeles after attending Berklee College of Music in Boston where he studied commercial music arranging with the hopes of working as a trumpet player and arranger. When a singer didn’t show up one day for a group vocal recording session where he was the music arranger, Randy stepped in and sang the missing part, and that serendipitous moment began his session singer career. Thirty-five years later, he still sings and/or arranges music most days, and has hundreds of major film, television, commercial, and record credits to his name. He’s been a “stunt-singer” for many actors. One of his other great joys is being a member of the improv comedy/voiceover/character singing/loop group “The Cleanup Crue”.
